les dictionnaires
I do encourage you to use online translators. They can be great learning tools! However, be careful, too. Using online translators are most helpful when translating short phrases but will often provide bizarre or incorrect translations on large sentences especially if you use idioms or slang. Always make sure you completely understand the translation or you could end up with some pretty embarrassing French.
A great way to double check is to copy and paste your translation and have the site re-translate it back into English.

BrainPop has daily, educational videos and then quizzes to test what you learned. Doing the videos in French can be quite challenging but a great way to train your ears to hear native French. Anyone up for the challenge?

Memrise is one of the best flashcard apps/programs that I've seen. I definitely encourage you to get a free account and start studying French with this app! I suggest the Elementary French course for 1st year and Intermediate for 2nd year students.

Another great flashcard app for your phone, tablet, or computer. Many of the vocabulary lists we use in class were created using this program. Look for the list-specific website and use this to study your lists!
